Born and raised in the lower mainland, David began his post secondary education at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick and completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at UBC in 1998.

David is an expert in manual therapy and its application to sports and orthopaedic injuries, having studied under some of the top practitioners in these fields and additionally having achieved the internationally recognized designation of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists. Since 2004, he has taught postgraduate courses in orthopaedic manual therapy for the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. David also specializes in vestibular (dizziness and balance) disorders and concussions.

David strives to provide the best care for each and every patient that he sees. As a dedicated, lifelong athlete who has played and coached a multitude of sports, David has a particular passion for sports physiotherapy. He has guided a range of athletes, from amateur to professional, back to competitive excellence. David is particularly skilled at finding strategies to optimize his patient’s unique abilities to help themselves physically and mentally achieve their goals. Whether treating a sports injury, concussion, vestibular condition, or work-related injury, Dave brings his thoughtful, patient-centered approach to each new case with kindness and care. In his downtime, you can find David happily curled up on the couch reading a favorite book to one of his four young children.
