Dan Asch

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

BKin, MScPT, Vestibular Rehabilitation, MCPA

Dan graduated from Queen's University with a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy, and before that, received his Bachelor in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia.

Dan's interest in physiotherapy and athletic performance stemmed from his own experience in competitive sport, and in particular, prolonged injuries which were successfully treated by physiotherapy. He's passionate about using manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and education to work collaboratively with patients to help them reach their goals - whether elite youth athletes or their grandparents. Dan has completed Level 1 with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and plans to attain his Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

In addition to helping clients overcome pain so they can enjoy an active West Coast lifestyle, he also has a clinical interest in the management of vestibular issues and has trained in vestibular rehabilitation with the Dizziness and Balance Rehabilitation Clinic in Victoria. Prior to physiotherapy, Dan worked as an exercise physiologist working with adults with chronic health conditions and in cardiac rehabilitation, as well as a youth basketball coach.
